West Coast cannabis brand, Stone Road is now available on the East Coast! The queer-led brand has branched out to the Massachusetts market and can now be purchased in California, Oklahoma and Massachusetts!
Stone Road was founded by NYC native Lex Corwin in 2016 at the age of 23 as a queer-led, family run cannabis brand focused on harvesting and distributing accessible, affordable cannabis products across US legal markets.
The deal marks the first high-end, yet approachable priced California brand, entering the Massachusetts cannabis market. Stone Road’s signature 1g hash-infused single pre-rolls and a new 10 pack of pure flower .5g pre-rolls (exclusive to Massachusetts) are now available for purchase on the East Coast.
“I am overjoyed to be launching in Massachusetts. This was years in the making and marks our first foray to the East Coast. We couldn’t have asked for a better partner in Solar, and are beyond excited to bring our lineup of high quality and low-cost products to the customers in MA. Being born and raised on the East Coast, this is a lifelong dream to bring the brand back home,” said Stone Road Founder & CEO Lex Corwin.
Both Stone Road and Solar value strict sustainability practices and believe that beautiful, sustainable products should be inclusively priced for maximum accessibility. Stone Road’s small-batch, all-natural flower is grown in the most sustainable way possible, using only solar power and regenerative water practices at their Northern California farm and will be grown in the same fashion at Solar’s indoor facility in Massachusetts. Each whole flower joint is then hand-rolled in French papers and lab tested for purity and potency, so consumers can feel good about lighting up with the healthiest and happiest flower in Massachusetts.
Solar has carved out a niche for themselves in the industry as the first indoor grow facility in the U.S. to run its own micro-grid, enabling them to generate their own clean power both on-site and off the grid. Both Solar and Stone Road’s commitment to sustainability allows them to reimagine what premium, design-forward products can look like for a new generation of earth-conscious consumers. Because both companies are vertically-integrated they are able to prioritize keeping costs affordable for their customers.
“We are thrilled to finally introduce Stone Road to the Massachusetts market,” said Edward Dow, CEO of Solar Cannabis Co. “I believe we found each other through our like-minded initiatives and support for diversity within the cannabis space. We couldn’t be more proud to help bring such a unique, tried and true brand – and its stand-out products – to the East Coast.”
