Looking for the perfect summertime beverage? Cannabis-infused drinks are it – and there are a lot of options to choose from.
While many of us are familiar with consuming cannabis as edibles, which can take the form of baked goods or other snack foods, cannabis can also be consumed in liquid form. Let’s start by breaking down the many different types of cannabis-infused beverages – a few options include the following:
- Cannabis-infused water/seltzer
- These products can be made with still, sparkling, or flavored water.
- Cannabis-infused tea
- These products can be pre-made and sold in a can or can be made at home with your favorite tea and some cannabis leaves.
- Cannabis-infused soda
- These products are carbonated and often fruity.
- Cannabis-infused alcoholic beverages
- These products are often made with wine, ciders, beer, and other cocktail-like beverages.
Now that we have covered the basics of cannabis-infused beverages, let’s dive into the plethora of different products that are on the market by focusing on five different cannabis brands.
Wunder
Founded in 2018 and marketed throughout California, Wunder has become one of the most popular brands for cannabis-infused beverages. All of the drinks are low-calorie, ranging from 25-50 calories per can, and are also gluten-free. There is a wide range of flavors that correspond with different amounts of THC.
On their website, they feature unique flavors such as Watermelon Basil and Blackberry Lemon flavored beverages that both contain 5mg of THC. They also feature those same flavors with 10mg of THC. Wunder also has lower dosage beverages, with flavors such as Lemon Ginger and Blood Orange Bitters, each containing 2mg of THC.
A pack containing 12 of the 5mg beverages is around $60, and a pack containing 24 is around $115. This is subject to change depending on where you are purchasing the cans. Looking at the 10mg beverages, a pack containing 12 of these beverages is around $70, and a pack containing 24 is around $135. These cannabis-infused drinks have fairly low-level effects and are perfect for social activities and great alternatives to alcoholic beverages.
Ayrloom
This past January, New York’s first legal cannabis-infused beverage went on the market. Ayrloom is a company that sells a plethora of THC products, such as edibles and vapes, and has now broken into the beverage industry with THC-infused carbonated water.

Similar to other THC-focused brands, Ayrloom advertises these beverages as the perfect way to use cannabis in social settings without actually smoking.
Keef
Many brands, such as Keef, opt for a more traditional beverage route by producing THC-infused beverages that mimic soda. Founded in Boulder, Colorado in 2010 as a small business with not much popularity, Keef has ground to be a popular, award-winning brand. Keef has a unique approach to their marketing by advertising their beverages to be the perfect mix of the fun, social, and celebratory connotation associated with drinking with the joy of smoking cannabis.
Keef has an extremely wide variety of flavors for their beverages and has two categories of THC amounts: 10mg and 100mg. The 10mg beverages also contain 10mg of CBD. Flavors for the 10mg beverages include Original Cola, Blue Razz, Bubba Kush Root Beer, Orange Kush, Purple Passion, Blackberry Coconut, and Blood Orange. Flavors for the 100mg beverages include Strawberry Kiwi, Cranberry Lime, Blueberry Lemon, Lemonade, Pineapple, and Fruit Punch. The wide variety of flavors makes these beverages the perfect summertime drink for outdoor activities with friends and family.
Mad Lilly
Women-owned cannabis company, Mad Lilly, was launched in 2019 by a group of women, many being mothers, looking to incorporate low doses of cannabis into their daily routines of self-care. Their website is highly user-friendly, breaking down the different categories of cannabis, such as Sativa, Indica, and hybrid, as well as separating their products by what they are best used for, such as creativity, athletic recovery, pain, and sleep.
Their beverages are mainly carbonated spritzers, with flavors including Ginger Pear, Passion Fruit Mango, and Raspberry Hibiscus. Each beverage has an equal amount of THC and CBD, with 5mg per can. Aside from their standard spritzers, Mad Lilly also has pre-packaged cocktails that have a range of THC per can, going from 6mg to 100mg, with flavors such as Raspberry Long Island Iced Tea and Tropical Mai Tai. These. This is a unique twist on the standard cannabis-infused beverage that we normally see on the market.
Aside from its different categories of pre-packaged beverages, Mad Lilly also has other unique products such as tea leaves. Two of their most popular teas are Mint Green, which is advertised for positivity and laughter, as well as Turmeric Ginger, which is advertised for pain relief and relaxation. As we can see, Mad Lilly has an extremely diverse selection of products, allowing them to appeal to a wide variety of individuals.
Tinley’s
Established in 2007, Tinley’s transitioned into a cannabis beverage company in 2015 and began producing cannabis-infused sparkling tonics and mixers. Their sparkling tonics are made to mimic America’s most popular mixed drinks while incorporating cannabis from California. These beverages have approximately 30 calories and 5g of sugar per bottle.
Tinley’s has four main flavors of their sparkling tonics: Stone Daisy, High Horse, Juniper Fly, and Mystic Dove. Stone Daisy is inspired by a classic margarita with lime, containing blue agave lime and pineapple juice. High Horse is inspired by ginger beer but with a twist. This particular beverage is made with spicy ginger to give it that extra kick, making it more unique than a standard ginger beer. Juniper Fly is inspired by two classic drinks, the British juniper, and the tonic classic beverage, made with a berry mix. Mystic Dove is inspired by a classic grapefruit and agave cocktail, made with both grapefruit and lime.
Aside from these five brands we decided to feature, there are dozens of other cannabis brands that are breaking into the industry of cannabis-infused drinks. If you are an avid cannabis user looking for a new summertime drink, definitely test out some of these!
