On Saturday, April 20th, we held the first MARY Fest in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with over 25 brand partners and over 600 guests and the day was one to remember. The day began with a B2B section where retailers, press, influencers and industry guests were invited to see the latest from brands who are in the New York market.
In our Garden of MARY, guests got a first-hand experience of trying product from brands such as Grav, Pax, Old Pal, MFNY, Curaleaf, Select, Grassroots and BNoble. From bodega setups, spin-the-wheel activations, joint rolling stations, to pre-filled glass pipes and a mobile espresso – guests could check out each brand and learn more about who they are and what they have to offer.
In our Main Hall, the fun continued with additional brands such as Etain Health, House of Puff, Terra-Tory, Brelixi, Green Thumb Industries, Rythm, Dogwalkers, Flower Mills, Gron, Ravens View Genetics, Dutchie, Forte, Cure8, and Kayapush! As guests entered, they learned about the latest seed offerings, skincare and wellness products, delicious edibles, took away premium hand-rolled goods, locally grown flower and top-tier accessories.
Royal Queen Seeds hosted a Home Grow Masterclass for guests interested in growing their own plants, led by industry veteran, Max and also had a booth where you could learn more about their seeds and grab some swag for yourself.
To keep guests refreshed and hydrated, Samuel Adams offered their non-alcoholic IPA, Just the Haze that’s made of Samuel Adams two-row pale malt blend, White Wheat and Golden Naked Oats with Citra, Mosaic, Sabro, Cascade hops and to keep the fun going, Samuel Adams held a silent disco in the inner courtyard.
Our 420 Day Party in the Garden of MARY was an experience! Music by DJ LALA had the crowd grooving from the beginning to the end with Afrobeat, Hip Hop, R&B and Reggae tunes. With great weather and the sun glaring down, it was a beautiful 420 for all.
